Starcraft Running On Android Via Winulator
Despite its age, Starcraft is undoubtedly one of the top games in the world. I mean, when you can get paid to play a game and when thousands upon thousands of people are willing to watch your skills in action, you’ve got a popular game for sure.
Well it looks like this game could be making its way to Android via Winulator. Winulator is an application that allows you to run some of the older 90′s Direct X based games on your Android device. This is still definitely a work in progress but they have recently released a video showing off what it may look like when finished. The game would come with on screen buttons to help you navigate as you wage war.
The app currently has a free beta version but if you want to support the team there is an $8 version available for purchase. I don’t know exactly how functional, or even practical, this Winulator will turn out to be but I love that they’re trying. And that’s why I love Android, the opportunities are really endless as to what can be accomplished.
