Now, I know I like to post about updates, but rarely has an app updated that has got me to just simply say ‘wow’ when I’ve gone in used it.
I guess I hadn’t paid attention to the ‘what’s new’ section of Aviary when I updated it. But, I noticed when an app wasn’t in its normal position in the app drawer.
Aviary updated itself to be its own standalone app now, and it’s ‘polished’ I tell ya.
It still has most of the same editing features that it had before. But where it really has the polish is the initial scrolling gallery to choose a photo.
Additionally, it has the option of editing the tool bar (which is very handy).
It even has a ‘meme editing’ function… that’s going to be fun to play with.
It still works as an ‘editor’ for the ICS gallery… but you may just end up using it on its own now that it’s standalone. So useful, so powerful… just great!
