Discover the Best Android Apps for Your Device in 2024News

Apps updated this past week [Sept 30 ’12]

Here’s the apps I saw update notifications for (and not just small minor bug fixes).

Dropbox

Now, this update came via my email, so I doubt it’s in the play store yet…

We’ve been toiling away on our next release and we’re excited to have a preview to share with you. The focus in this release is making it easier to see and enjoy the photos and videos you’ve camera uploaded.

What’s new:

  • All new photos tab!
  • Uploads are now in the menu in the files and folders browser
  • UI improvements and updates throughout
  • Pre-ICS devices now get an ICS look and feel through most of the app
  • Lots of other little tweaks and bug fixes

This build is hot off the press, so there are some rough edges remaining and probably some crashes lurking in it. Also, it’s not fully translated into our non-English languages yet. But we’d love to get your feedback on any and all aspects of the app! Especially the Camera Upload view and the revised manual upload experience.
