Telus HTC Desire HD Gets Updated to Gingerbread 2.3.3 (Updated)
Telus has pushed out its Gingerbread 2.3.3 update today for HTC Desire HD. It didn’t come with Sense 3.0 but with a couple new features such as HTC Medialink, Picasa, and Linkedin.
Currently installing this update and will update this page as more is found.
Update: So I am seeing cosmetic changes such as the menu button to bring up all your apps is no longer a downward arrow, but now the standard Android 16 dots to bring up your list of apps. Within your apps you no longer scroll freely down the page, but instead you scroll by pages. Also included at the bottom of the list of apps is a Frequently use apps button and a downloaded apps button.
The pull down Notification bar at the top of your screen now has Notifications and Quick settings options.
Outside of these minor changes I haven’t really spotted anything to outstanding, everything is mostly the same or very slightly enhanced. Sadly I’m a little disappointed because I was expecting more, or perhaps I have not found it all yet.
Update #2 It appears that HTC finally Addressed the sound issue that users were having using the stock OS, after being ignored for a long time finally we see a fix.
Sorry for the poor quality in photos, they were taken with an iPhone 4 lol (not joking)
