Samsung’s Got Some New Galaxy & ATIV Devices To Announce June 20
The Galaxy S4 is already out and the Galaxy Note III is expected to be announced a closer to fall but that doesn’t mean that Samsung can’t bring some more devices to market in between. Samsung has thrown this picture up on their Twitter page which clearly points to some sort of announcement of new Galaxy and ATIV devices on June 20.
There are a few Android powered devices that we know about that but aren’t yet announced that could be featured at this event. First there’s the Galaxy S4 family which includes the S4 Mini, S4 Zoom, and S4 Active. Then there’s the new Galaxy Tab 3′s that still need their official unveiling. On the ATIV side of things, a sequel to the ATIV S is definitely a likely possibility and I’m sure they’ll have all sorts of new Windows 8 laptops and Tablets to show off too.
Now I’ve been sitting here for a little while trying to decipher the pictures and here’s what I got. The bottom left clearly looks to be a laptop (again likely Windows 8 unless they’ve got another Chromebook up their sleeves!). In the top right I believe we have the S4 Active. If you take a look at the picture below and then the picture above, both devices have that black rubber band at the end of the device with those circular…notches? The bottom right picture I can’t really figure out buy my best guess is a camera of some sort. To me, the picture kind of looks like a camera lens which could point to a new Galaxy Camera or possibly the aforementioned Galaxy S4 Zoom.
