The upcoming LG G2 has yet to be officially announced but as more and more rumours have poured out, a pretty clear idea of what we can expect is coming into picture. Today another report has surfaced confirming previous rumours about the specs as well as the phone design. First the specs:
- 5.2″ 1080p IPS Display
- Snapdragon 800 Procesor
- 2GB RAM
- 13MP Camera with an Optical Image Stabilizer
The Optical Image Stabilizer is new information but it seems like a good move as other companies (such as Nokia on the Lumia 920 and HTC on the One) have begun to add on this technology. The report also confirmed that the volume buttons and power button will be moved to the back of the device. The power button is apparently set between the “+” and “-” buttons. Speaking of those “+” and “-” buttons, they are supposedly going to double as your zoom in and out when you’re in camera mode.
As I stated before, the switch up of the buttons, as seemingly insignificant as it is, may possibly be a tough sell as it’s quite unconventional. But who knows, maybe once we’ve tried it out we’ll realize that that’s where buttons should have been all along. I will say though that it does make the device look pretty sleek since there’s no break in any of the lines on the phone.
