Rogers, Telus and Bell Galaxy Tab 8.9 Receiving ICS

In a world where everyone is waiting for Jelly Bean to come to their device, Rogers, Telus and Bell have finally released Android 4.0 ICS for their Galaxy Tab 8.9’s.  We’re not sure what the major delay was, seeing that many other parts of the world have had it for months now, but it’s finally here.

So if you’ve got yourself a Galaxy Tab 8.9 lying around, pick it up and check in your settings for an update.  While it’s not quite Jelly Bean, ICS was still a big step over Honeycomb when it comes to performance.  I remember back when I got my update from Honeycomb to ICS on my Transformer I shocked by the difference in performance.  Many things looked the same but they functioned at a much higher level.

Let us know if you get your update!
