Today was supposed to be a joyous day for us Android fanatics. Google was to announce their latest additions to the Nexus line up, the Nexus 4, the Nexus 10, and a refreshed Nexus 7. However, due to an incoming hurricane, Hurricane Sandy, Google has decided to postpone their event until further notice. Here’s the official statement from Google.
We are canceling our Monday morning event in New York due to Hurricane Sandy. We will let you know our plans as soon as we know more.
There is currently no word on when or where they plan to reschedule. Definitely unfortunate news but I guess it’ll teach us all a little bit about patience! In the mean time let us hope and pray that those in the area will remain safe with the incoming storm and that damages will be kept to a minimum.
