ZTE Axon 7 Gets New Update, Adds Multi-User Support, Improved Battery

Holding on to a ZTE Axon 7? If that’s the case, then you should probably see a new update has arrived on your device (sorry folks, it’s not Oreo). The Axon 7 is ZTE’s flagship and is regularly updated by the company with the latest features. Case in point, the Axon 7 is one of the few Daydream-ready smartphones out there.

The new update arrives as version number ZTE_A2024UV1.1.0B25 and brings with it the following changes:

– Multi-user support
– Enhanced Daydream performance
– Improved battery performance
– Quick Settings Titles support added
– Night Mode with adjustable scale
– Modified notification from tone to vibrate on calls
– Hiya app update
– Android Pay issue resolved
– Google security patches through August 1, 2024
– Other fixes

The update weighs a hefty 793MB, so you better make sure you’re on a stable Wi-Fi connection before you start downloading it. It’s also recommended to have your handset charges as high as 50%.

Despite being launched last year the Axon 7 is still a tremendous device. The phone arrives with a 5.5-inch display with 1440 x 2560 pixels and a Snapdragon 820 nestled under the hood. It also includes 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Among its standout feats, we should mention the AKM AK4490EN DAC or digital-to-analog converter – which is an independent Hi-Fi audio sampler.
