Which way to go? Nexus S vs Atrix?

I am having a really tough time with this one. Do I go out and buy the mother of all phones in the Atrix? Or do I go and get a decent phone with guaranteed updates and access to CM7? Further to that it appears as though the Nexus S will be available (without having to unlock) from various carriers. This brings into question which cell phone plan do I want to consider? If I am based in Vancouver I have a ton of choices.

Wind($60 including data) looks great with their unlimited plans but I do travel to Victoria quite often and would be forced to turn off the phone or incur some serious roaming charges. Unlimited Canada wide talking, text and data in a Wind Zone. Outside of Wind zones I pay 25 cents a minute. Wind tries desperately to make their away data look cheap but it is about $4MB . Scary thing here is they display it as 25 cents per kB. Very misleading as most people have no idea what a kB is. Let alone the difference between a kB, KB, MB, GB etc.

Mobilicity($55 including data) looks good as well and has roughly the same zone as Wind. Stay in Vancouver and it’s all good, go outside of those borders and I’m in trouble. Unlimited Canada wide talking, text and data in a Mobilicity Zone. Outside of Mobilicity zones I pay 20 cents a minute. where Mobilicity is REALLY scare is the additional $5/MB. That could add up really quickly.

Bell ($80 including 2 GB’s Data) gets me 900 anytime local minutes. When I am over the 900 or making long distance it is 40 cents a minute. No Zones.

Telus ($85 including 2 GB’s of Data) gets me 600 anytime local minutes. For $100 I can get 1200 anytime minutes and 5GB’s. No Zones. Long distance is 40 cents a minute.

What would you do and what do you recommend?
