Sony’s latest flagship, the Xperia Z3+, was recently found to exihbit many heat-related issues due to the controversial Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC found in the device and now we finally have an update.

Sony has just acknowledged that the Z3+ (or Z4 in Japan) experience “some” heat issues and that it is planning to release a fix this summer. HTC has already done something similar with the One M9 as it sent out an update which effectively throttled the processor to avoid getting too warm.

Sony is planning on bringing this phone globally this month so it will be interesting to see if more people experience this.
