Someone Took Pictures Of A Galaxy S6 Prototype

Well would you look at that, just days before Samsung’s scheduled event, XDA-Developers user managed to take a few pictures of a supposed Galaxy S6 prototype.

 

First off, I would like to say that this is NOT the same phone that was teased by T-Mobile and AT&T. That was actually the other rumoured Galaxy S6 Edge variant. This however, is the regular Galaxy S6. The photos below reveal what the Korean electronics giant has accomplished since the Galaxy S5 and unfortunately, I’m sad to announce that according to this pictures, it won’t come with a removable battery or a microSD card slot.

With that said, the rest is looking like a mix between Apple’s iPhone 6 and the Galaxy S4. You can clearly see the metal frame with the similar antenna design around the edge, as well as the bottom facing speaker. Glass is also present on the back of the phone and the IR port is centered on the top.

It’s worth mentioning that this doesn’t really look like the device in the other Samsung teaser so the idea of this being a pre-production device makes even more sense.
