Samsung Officially Brings Galaxy S II Plus

The Galaxy S II Plus is no secret.  It’s been circulating around the web for what feels like years!  Today Samsung has officially outed the device at CES, however there’s nothing really mind-blowing or jaw-dropping about it.

In terms of the specs, it’s more or less identical to the original Galaxy S II.

  •  4.3″ WVGA Super AMOLED Plus
  • Dual-Core Exynos Processor
  • 1GB RAM
  • 8GB Internal Storage
  • Micro-SD Slot
  • 8MP Camera
  • 2MP Front-Facing Camera
  • 1650 mAh Battery
  • Android 4.1.2

The design also very much resembles the original Galaxy S II (the original  i9000 version).  The big change is on the software side of things as they have brought the Nature UX, that many have fallen in love with on the Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II, to the phone.  Aside from that it’s another Galaxy S II.  There’s no word on availability and pricing but if Samsung prices this right it could be an amazing seller for the mid-level market.

What do you guys thinks about this decision from Samsung?
