LG Optimus LTE (i.e. the LG Eye) coming to Bell

In a string of recent announcements on phones and OS, sometimes others get left out.

Hopefully this one doesn’t escape our Bell customers:

LG has released the Optimus LTE on the Bell network to be called the LG EYE (eww…).

This thing has some impressive stats as well:

Gingerbread 2.3 [but will probably have the capacity to see ICS]

4.5″ screen at 1280×720

1.5GHz dual core [holy, more than the gNexus]

1GB RAM

8MP rear camera with 1.3MP front

As per most things Bell, you can check it out by hitting up your ol’ “Shack” store [I mean of course the Source, but after having worked there years ago, I can’t not call it the ‘shack’].

You can check out some videos of the phone in action here.
