Rogers Student Plans and Free 6PM Early Evenings: A Historical Look
The student plans
All three plans were for the BC, Alberta, Quebec and Ontario regions and ran on a 3-year term. A valid student ID from a recognized high school or post-secondary institution was required.

The $25 plan could also be used on a monthly, 1-year or 2-year term. Its extension ran until a date given in the original post.
Android device pricing
When paired with a data plan, such as the $40 Smartphone Data Value Pack, the $30 6GB plan or the $25 500MB plan, any Android device from Rogers cost the promotional price on a 3-year agreement. For the $50 plan, promotional pricing applied to any Android device.
The free 6PM early evenings add-on
Rogers extended an add-on that moved unlimited evenings to 6PM on existing plans that did not already have 6PM or earlier evenings.
- Existing customers had to contact the carrier and hold an in-market plan, meaning a plan that was current within the last quarter.
- New customers signing up for a 3-year plan got the add-on automatically.
