Days after the Galaxy Nexus was revealed on stage during Google’s ICS/Nexus event, they showed the Galaxy Nexus Dock that would utilize the PoGo pins on the right side of the phone.
Of course there were many more accessories as well, but this is the one that really took the spotlight. Many websites have it up for sale, but just list it as “Coming soon” or “Back ordered”. I actually took the initiative to order one from Bell’s website for the overpriced $89.99+ tax + delivery charge. Days later they sent me an email stating: “We are currently out of stock, we ‘should’ be getting some in soon, but for now we just leave it there to tease our customers”
*NOTE* That last portion of the quote may or may not be what they actually said (shifty eyes) lol
Anyways, back to story.
So it turns out they have delayed the official Samsung accessories again. Phandroid wrote:
UK retailer Clove tells us we’ll have to wait nearly another month for the accessories – February 13th, to be exact. Not the greatest of news but some of us are just happy that they’re coming at all. Remark your calendars, folks.
It’s really a shame they were not able to release these products along side the phone in their initial release, I’m sure the extra sales they would have made would have been astronomical.
Where you do you stand on the Galaxy Nexus accessories. Are you still waiting for the official ones, or have you turned your back and bought a 3rd party accessory who were more prepared for the release. Sound off in the comments, and share your thoughts with our community.
