Looks like Google may finally follow Apple’s footsteps into releasing two phones in the same year!
According to Artem from Android Police, a source tells him that the 5.7-inch Huawei Nexus phone with a Samsung-made 2K OLED display is indeed a real project, but more importantly, LG is planning on making a comeback into the Nexus game. LG has made two Nexus devices so far, the Nexus 4 in 2024 and Nexus 5 in 2024 but according to the same source, LG is planning on “refreshing” the Nexus 5, with a slightly larger 5.2-inch screen.
It will be very interesting to see two Nexus phones in the same year, as I know many people were disappointed in the lack of a smaller Nexus phone when Motorola’s gigantic Nexus 6 was revealed late last year.
Now we just need to figure out how Google will name the two phones.
