Tablets are dead right? Well according to recent information coming to us via Android Police, it appears Motorola doesn’t believe so.
Trusted sources have revealed that the Moto maker is currently working on a premium tablet device with a diagonal between nine to ten inches.
The publication managed to obtain a screenshot which hints the device will be probably aimed at business users featuring a multi-tasking functionality dubbed Productivity Mode.
The screenshot reveals the feature might allow users to pin apps to Android’s navbar, making it possible to switch between apps without having to go back to the home screen. Another feature revealed by the image is that Motorola has added a dedicated app drawer button right on the navbar.
Right now the Motorola tablet is shrouded in mystery, so we can’t really offer more information. Motorola never made a huge splash in the world of tablets (except for the Motorola XOOM) but with a productivity focused device, things might be a bit different this time.
Samsung’s lineup of premium Tab S tablets have seen moderate success, so will Motorola manage to do better? Or even rival Apple’s iPad?
