HTC Desire C Coming To Canada
The HTC Desire line was probably one of the most popular lines in HTC’s Android history. The original Desire was one of the greatest devices during it’s time and always reminds me of Android’s beginnings.
The Desire line had some sequels here in Canada, the Desire Z and the Desire HD, but those devices never had quite the same impact as the original. Since then, the Desire line has seemingly disappeared and has since been replaced by the new HTC One series.
But according to some tipsters over at MobileSyrup, it seems like the Desire line is coming back. It’s not going to be challenging the top tier devices, but rather taking a stab at the entry level market.
The device will be running ICS out of the box with Sense 4 and Beats Audio to give the audio an edge. It’ll come in with a 3.5″ 320×480 screen, a 600 MHz processor, 512MB Ram, a 5MP camera.
Again, it’s not quite the flagship device of old, but it could be a great entry level device. Especially if the suspected $200 price holds true. Both Rogers and Virgin are rumoured to be selling this device with Virgin having a speculated release date of July 13.
