Google Play Gift Cards Now Available In Canada
Ever wanted to give your Android loving friend a nice gift card for his birthday, but sadly Google Play gift cards just weren’t available. From now on you can as Google has made Google Play gift cards available for people in Canada. The gift cards will be available in denominations of $15, $25 and $50 (CAD) in a range of selected retailers. The list of where you can buy them:
- Shoppers Drug Mart
- Future Shop
- Target
- 7-11
- Best Buy
- Mac’s
- Walmart
- Pharmaprix
- Circle K
- Couche-Tard
The list isn’t that short so I’m sure you’ll find a place close to you that will sell Google’s gift cards. Google advises that while officially launched stores might not have them in stock, so you may have to wait a few days before they’re available to you.
The gift cards are redeemed in the Google Play Store and add credit to you Google Wallet account for all you’re downloading needs. If you’re considering a gift card as a gift or just want one for yourself, don’t forget to look for them in stores in the coming days.
