Google Pixel 2 to Come with 18:9 Aspect Ratio Like LG G6

We don’t know about you, but we’re really excited about the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. Speaking of which, German website WinFuture recently spotted the Pixel 2 XL in the GFXBench database.

The listing reveals some interesting aspects about the phone. For starters, we can see the Pixel 2 XL could arrive with a 5.6-inch display with 2560 x 1312 resolution. This aspect indicates the phone will come with an 18:9 aspect ratio – just slightly shorter than the Galaxy S8’s 18:5:0 and similar to LG G6’s 18:9.

Furthermore, we can see the alleged Pixel XL 2 is powered by a Snapdragon 835 and not a Snapdragon 836 like previously rumours indicated. The phone also has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

What’s more, the listing reveals the device should come with a main 12-megapixel camera with 4K video shooting and an 8-megapixel front facing snapper offering the same recording capabilities.

Recent word on the street would also have us believe, the Pixel 2 will be waterproof/water-resistant and might bring a main dual-camera into the equation. However, if the GFXBench listing is correct, the Pixel 2 will have a single primary camera.

The Pixel 2 should also ship with Android O out of the box, although GFXBench lists Android 7.1.1 Nougat as the default operating system.
