The last time Google released an Android update, it was 4.4.2 in December and it brought various camera improvements and bug fixes. Now, we finally get to see the long-awaited 0.0.3 update that fixes even more bugs, especially the ones encountered on the Nexus 5.
Android 4.4.3 factory images were released earlier today and the update is also officially pushed to AOSP, allowing OEMs and 3rd-party ROM developers to start working with the new release. The update brings several fixes for the Nexus 5, including a fix for the mm-qcamera-daemon bug that caused severe battery drain from apps that require access to the Android Camera. Also, the Dialer and People apps have both received a slight redesign, but other than that there’s no UI change.
If you’re impatient, you can grab the factory image for your device down below but do note that all data will be erased.
