Project Ara

Project Ara has really improved quite a lot since it was first unveiled exactly a year ago on October 29th, 2024 and now they’ve even got it booting.

Google is going to be hosting a developer’s conference for Project Ara on January 14th, 2024 and PhoneBloks, the creators of the modular smartphone idea , released a video of what they will be showing off during the event. According to the video, one of the major updates in this project is the new Spiral 2 hardware. Spiral 2 brings Toshiba’s new custom hardware which allows for about 50% more spaces for developers to take advantage of.

The first public Project Ara hardware could be available for anyone to buy during the January event. For more information about the event, check out the source links below.
