Gmail for Android Update: Change Your Google Account Settings in the App

You can now edit your private Google Account information from inside Gmail. That covers your password, profile info, and privacy and security settings. Before this, those changes required a computer, so now you can change a password straight from an Android phone.
Where to find it
- Open Settings in the Gmail app.
- Choose the email account you want.
- Tap the My Account option.
Undo for swipe actions
Swipe actions also changed. When you swipe to delete or archive an email, an undo option appears at the bottom, so an accidental swipe can be reversed.
How to get the update
The update was rolling out gradually. The Play Store usually notifies you when a Gmail update is available. If you do not see it, open the Play Store, find Gmail and tap update.
