Galaxy S5 Could Get Android 5.0 Lollipop Update By December

We all know Samsung’s Galaxy S5 is bound to get the Android 5.0 update after the source drops next month, but the real question to ask is when?

According to SamMobile, known for their exclusive Samsung leaked firmware content, they have received word from an unspecified source regarding the general timeframe for the Android 5.0 OTA for the Galaxy S5, and it’s going to start in December of this year. This doesn’t mean all variants of the Galaxy S5 will get the update at once, but it does mean regional carriers will start reviewing the firmware before releasing the update.

An early build of Android L for the Galaxy S5 was shown off earlier this month so it does somewhat imply that Samsung should be close finalizing the build by now.
