All-Black BlackBerry KEYone Might Be Coming Soon
At the moment customers looking to purchase the new BlackBerry KEYone smartphone only have the option of picking up the Black/Gray model. But soon an all-black model might be become available too.
We don’t have an official confirmation that this variant actually exists, but according to rumors the all-black handset will launch on August 8 in China. Other markets might get it as well, although we can’t be 100% sure at the moment.
Other than the all-black paint job, the new KEYone variant should remain the same hardware-wise.
The phone features a 4.5-inch display with 1080 x 1620 resolution and the famous QWERTY keyboard living at the bottom. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor in combination with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. For those who want more, there’s a microSD card slot onboard which allows for memory expansion up to 2TB.
The device also includes a 12-megapixel main snapper with f/2.0, phase detection autofocus and dual-LED flash, as well as a 8-megapixel selfie snapper with f/2.2.
The KEYone is currently available to buy in Canada in Black/Gray, but it remains to be seen whether the all-black model will be offered in the country as well. We’ll keep you updated on the matter. The phone certainly looks nice, so hopefully it will land on the North American continent too.
