Asus just sent an OTA (wifi?) update.
Not much is really known about really this update, but the new build is 8.6.5.9-20240816. There’s a lot of chatter on the internet about how it supports Netflix now, but I don’t see it. Then again, being in Canada we can only download the unofficial netflix version and that still has mine listed as an unsupported device. Boo-urns.
So, there’s an update but for something we can’t use here in Canada. However, it’s a leap forward for netflix on Android tablets. And Asus has been astounding for ensuring the updates are rolling out [sorry Tom, your xoom will have to wait].
Anybody else notice anything in the update that I’m missing [apparently there’s something in it for the docks as well, but in Canada docks were few and far between].
Can you get netflix working on a Canadian eeePad without rooting? Let me know.
