Alcatel Pop 7 LTE Budget Tablet Now Available from Rogers and Fido
Fancy a tablet this spring? Well if that’s the case, maybe you’d like to take a look at the Alcatel Pop 7 model which is n ow available from Rogers and Fido.
The slate could have been previously purchased with Bell, Telus and Virgin Mobile. However, if you’re not a fan of either of these carriers, now you have the option of snagging it from the rest of the Big 3.
The LTE-equipped Alcatel Pop 7 is an entry-level device that features a 7-inch display with 1024 x 576-pixel resolution and a Snapdragon 210 processor under the hood. It takes advantage of 1GB of RAM and only 8GB of built-in storage. Luckily Alcatel also throws in a microSD card slot which will allow users who need more than that, to expand built-in memory up to 64GB.
In the camera department, the Pop 7 isn’t too great, as it takes advantage of a 5MP main camera plus a 2MP selfie shooter. The slate relies on a decent 3,240 mAh battery and runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. But don’t get your hopes up about the device getting Nougat anytime soon.
Get the Alcatel Pop 7 for $0 down on a two year-contract or for $150 CAD outright.
