Multi-Window Ported To Galaxy S II

One of the best features in the latest flagship devices from Samsung has got to be the multi-window ability.  This feature allows you to split the screen in two and run one app on the top and one one the bottom.  For those who are still rocking the Galaxy S II may feel a little left out as this feature won’t be making its way to their phone officially.

But thanks to the wonderful developer community, you can now port that feature over to your Galaxy S II and show it off to all your friends.  Apparently, the port is fully functioning and is based on an Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean build.  So not only will you get a great feature but also a great Android base to run it on

If you’re interested in trying it out head to the link below.  Be warned that doing this voids your likely expired warranty and you run the  risk of bricking your device.  However as long as you’re careful and read through things thoroughly and carefully you should be fine.

This is what really makes Android such a great system.  Even when the manufacturers kill off a device, the developer community keeps it ticking on and on for years to come.
