Google Play Store Turns 1! No Big Celebration Deals (Update)

Google Play has officially turned one and they’re celebrating but not as big as I, or likely many others, would have hoped for.  I was hoping to find a whole bunch of 1 cent apps on their store to celebrate turning one, but instead there’s just a handful of “deals” on the Play Store.

I think the best deals would probably be purchasing Kung Fu Panda for $4.99 or grabbing A Quest Of Heroes (it’s a book) but even those aren’t anything exciting.  If you want to check it out hit the link below.

UPDATE:

If you actually jump onto the Play Store from your phone/tablet there are a couple of categories on the main page with some additional sales.  These categories include: Movie Rentals, Games, Movie Purchases, Books, and Magazines.  Still nothing major stood out but if you wanted to purchase a kids movie for a decent price there are some options there.
