Hey from New Writer, Mark!
I just wanted write someting quick to introduce myself. I have been following Android in Canada for a while and I figured I would throw my hat in the ring and start doing some writing for the site that I love so much. I live in Vancouver and am a pretty big Android enthusiast I have both android phone and tablet (which oddly enough, is how I’m writing this post now). I love to read up on tech and I find the mobile industry absolutely fascinating due to it’s dynamic nature and still relative infancy.
My first smartphone was, believe it or not, an iPhone 3G. I used that phone for maybe two years until I couldn’t stand it anymore and bought a Nexus S and have never looked back. After about a month of owning the Nexus S, I broke down and rooted my phone, installing CM7. Since then, I have had various different custom ROMs and kernels running on my phone. Needless to say, I always stay on top of that news I am also one of the rare users of the under-appreciated Sony Tablet S, so if you have any questions about that device, feel free to drop me a line!
Of course, I am not shy about my fandroid-ness. Everyone I know refers to me as the cellphone guy and I find myself giving advice on a daily basis. I don’t mind since it’s something I know well and I love educating people about new things. I suppose this makes writing on a blog a natural extension for me. I’ll be starting off slow and may start doing more articles if you guys don’t mind my posts
Anyways, I try and end this quickly because I am sure you all would rather hear more android news than about me, after all that’s why you’re here! If you want to see more of me, you can circle me on Google+ or follow me on Twitter @Fluxman
So without further ado…
