LG G Pad Will In Fact Run On A Snapdragon 600

8-3-Inch-LG-G-Pad-Tablet-PC-Leaks

Recently we’ve found out that LG was planning to get back on the tablet market, after a failed start with the Optimus Pad. Earlier rumours stated the device would feature the same internals and overall design of the LG G2, but on a bigger 8.3-inch package.

The rumours weren’t completely wrong, but the device, known as the “G Pad”, though confirmed, will not come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor found on the G2. Instead, the tablet will feature the lower tier Snapdragon 600, which is not as powerful, but will still move things along easily.

Apart from the Snapdragon 600, the tablet will have an 8.3-inch WUXGA (1920×1200) display with 350 knit of brightness and 60% color reproduction rate. The device will be available in two variants including WiFi and LTE. According to the source, the WiFi variant will be headed to the Korean market, while the LTE variant will be available from Verizon.

Right now things aren’t looking great in terms of availability, but these early leaks could be wrong, so there is still hope for this powerful little tablet to make its way to other markets. The rumoured unveiling at IFA 2024 is approaching, so we’re close to finding out officially. If it was headed our way, is this something you’d purchase? Leave your opinion below.
