Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 Specs Confirmed By Benchmark

Samsung Galaxy Note Pro Benchmark

As we shared back in December, Samsung is planning to launch a collection of new tablets in Q1 of 2024.  One of those tablets was said to be the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 and it looks like the specs for that particular tablet have been confirmed thanks to a recent benchmark posting.

The tablet will come in to variants, the WiFi only SM-P900 as well as the LTE capable SM-P905.  It will feature a 12.2″ WQXGA display (2560×1600 resolution), a 2.3GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 800 processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB RAM, 8MP Camera, and a 2.1MP front facing camera.  It is also said to be running Android 4.4.2 KitKat already which is a HUGE plus!

According to SamMobile, who are the ones who broke the story, Samsung is also working on a new Tablet UI that should be making its way to the new Note tablet.  Nothing is really known about the new UI quite yet but I definitely wouldn’t mid seeing some sort of overhaul to TouchWiz.

In terms of the actual benchmark score, the tablet performed pretty well.  It beats out the Note 3 (which is one of the most powerful devices on the market currently) despite the higher resolution display and the fact that the device was said to be using “experimental” software.  Apparently, it should have no problem scoring in the 40,000 range.

The device likely won’t be making an appearance at CES in January (or at least not an official appearance) but is slated to take the stage at MWC in Barcelona this February.

I still have the original Galaxy Note 10.1 and I still think it’s one of the most productivity driven tablets out there.  I can’t wait to see what they bring to the table with this new Pro model!
