WIND Adds The Huawei Ascend P6 To Their Line Up
Huawei is slowly making its way into the North American market. Their entry level Ascend Y300 is one of the best $100 phones you can find and now they have something a little higher end to offer up. The Ascend P6 is now available at WIND and can be picked up outright at the reasonable cost of $400. You can also throw it on a $40 WINDTab to get the cost down to $149 or a $30 WINDTab to get the cost down to $299. Here are the specs for this guy:
- 4.7″ 720p IPS Display
- 1.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
- 2GB RAM
- 8GB Internal Storage
- MicroSD Card Slot
- 8MP Camera
- 5MP Front Facing Camera (And no, that’s not a typo! It’s a 5MP Front Facing Camera!)
- 2024mAh Battery
- Android 4.2.2
Not bad eh? Pretty decent phone and a beautiful design. The design features “a diamond-cut metal frame and metallic back plate” : no plastic here! In addition to the premium material choice, this phone comes in at a crazy thin 6.18mm. In fact, it actually held the thinnest phone title for a short while and WIND is still marketing it as the “thinnest superphone”!
I know many of you will exclaim that the Nexus 5 is a better option, and I’d definitely agree with you, but this is a good option nonetheless.
