The Sony Xperia Z1 Is Now Available
Good news fellow Canucks. Sony’s latest flagship device is now available at all major carriers as Rogers, Bell, and Telus all added the device to their line up. All three are charging $200 on 2 -year contract for the device while their outright pricing differs a little bit. Bell and Telus both list the device at $700 without a contract while Rogers undercuts them at $600 outright. $600 is a pretty decent price for such a fully loaded device. Speaking of which, here’s the specs one more time:
- 5″ 1080p TRILUMINOS Display
- 2.2 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 800 Processor
- Adreno 330 GPU
- 2GB RAM
- 16GB Internal Storage
- microSD Card Slot
- 20.3 MP Camera
- 2MP Camear
- 3000 mAh Battery
- IP58 Certified (Dustproof and Water Resistant up to 1 Meter and 30 Minutes)
- Android 4.2
As you can see, this guy really packs a punch. And thanks to its IP58 certification, it should hold up a lot better against life’s little accidents compared to the competition. I should point out that colour does vary depending on the carrier. Telus only has the device in black. Bell has both black and white and Rogers has the device purple and black.
How many of you guys have already picked this up or are planning on grabbing it?
