Telus Moto X Play To Get Marshmallow March 9, Note 5 Update On March 13

Telus has just updated their update schedule so we have some more dates to throw your way.  First off, all of the Nexus’ (Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P) will all be getting their monthly security update on the 9th.  The Moto X Play will also be getting a security update on the 9th but it will also get its Marshmallow update at that time!

Next up will be the Samsung phablets, the S6 Edge+ and Note 5.   Both devices are slated to get their Marshmallow update on March 13.  Samsung’s other flagship duo, the Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 won’t get Marshmallow till some time later as those updates are expected to drop on March 30 and April 13 respectively.

Rounding out the soon the be Marshmallow-ified devices is the LG G3 which is slated to get its update on March 16.

Timely updates are definitely still a bit of an ordeal in the Android world but I’m happy to see things improving more and more with each new iteration of our little green robot.
