Some Nice Shots Of The Upcoming Honami Surface
Back when we were all just using feature phones, Sony was my go to manufacturer. They always had the nicest looking phones and packed them with the best cameras and audio. However, since we all switched over to smartphones, Sony has lost that former glory but with the upcoming Honami they’re definitely looking to reclaim their spot atop the phone industry.
The Honami will pack the very best Sony has to offer in a package that is thin and stylish, not to mention water/dust proof. Today we’re treated to some more pictures of that beautiful package. The design is very reminiscent of the Xperia Z which, in my opinion, is a good thing. You can also see there’s a very large speaker grill on the bottom which means we could get some killer sound out of this phone (possibly good enough to rival the HTC One!). The dedicated camera button is still on board which is good as this beast is rumoured to pack an amazing 20MP shooter.
The on thing that kind of bugs me is the size of that bezel, particularly on the bottom of the device. While I’m sure there’s a reason for it (possibly to house a large speaker or larger battery?) it just seems like a large chunk of wasted real estate. Besides that, I like the design and look forward to getting my hands on one in the future!
