Samsung Explains The New ISOCELL Camera Found On The S5

For many people a good camera is a key factor when looking for a new smartphone.  People want a camera that’s easy to use and, more importantly, will take great shots.  In order to help out with the latter part, Samsung has introduced their new ISOCELL camera technology into their upcoming flagship, the Galaxy S5.

What exactly does this new ISOCELL technology bring to the table?  Well Samsung has given us some details via a short YouTube clip.  I will say that the video is fairly technical but I feel like they made a valiant attempt to make it understandable.  In essence, the new technology allows more light into shots and also allows for better colour reproduction.  The ability to allow more light in will also help out in low light situations.

While this all sounds fine and dandy, we’ll need to wait on some real world results before we make any conclusions about the new ISOCELL technology.
