Features built around the curve
- Roll Effect: with the screen off, tilting the phone shows the date, time, missed calls and battery level.
- Gravity Effect: tilting the phone creates a visual response on screen.
- Bounce UX: with the screen off and music playing, a short press on the left side plays the previous track and on the right side the next track.
- Side Mirror: tilting left or right opens a list of album content for pictures and videos.
The large screen also supported one-hand operation controls and Multi Window, which runs more than one app at once and lets users share content between them.
Price and availability
The phone first went on sale in South Korea, in Luxury Brown, with more colours promised. Wider availability was uncertain. The post suggested Samsung might limit it to a few markets while testing demand for curved phones. That price is historical.
