October 28 May Be Thee Day For The Nexus 5 And Android 4.4

Well October 15 has come and gone and we still don’t have an official announcement for the Nexus 5 or Android 4.4.  However, October 16 brought forth a couple of rather interesting tweets courtesy of the Kit Kat Twitter Page.  The first tweet, which was accompanied by the above picture, stated “Everybody Dance Now!”  The second tweet, accompanied by the picture below, stated “Sometimes you have to look for the signs…”

Now I don’t claim to be the code breaker who figured this out but many people online see these two tweets as a hint that the Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 will be announced on the 28th.  How so?  Well the first tweet points to the song “Everybody Dance Now” by C&C Music Factory, a group formerly known as The 28th Street Crew.  The second tweet possibly points to the film dedicated to Michael Jackson, “This Is It,” which debuted, you guessed it, on October 28.

Of course, there’s the possibility that these tweets have nothing to do with anything but given the amount of attention the Nexus 5 has been receiving lately, an announcement can’t be too far off.
