Motorola Moto Z2 Might Still Happen
A few days ago Motorola unveiled the budget-friendly Moto Z2 Play. But it said nothing about the standard Moto Z2, nor about the high-end Moto Z2 Force for that matter.
Considering Motorola’s pattern last year, we were expecting three new Moto Z2 phones to launch in 2024. Well some have speculated the US company will only launch the Moto Z2 Play this year and perhaps the Moto Z2 Force, for those craving a more premium experience.
But a new listing that pop-up in Geekbench prove that the Moto Z2 might be coming after all. The device labeled “Moto Z(2)” doesn’t appear to be the Z2 Force but the standard successor of the Moto Z from last year.
The listing reveals the phone should contain a Snapdragon 835 processor clocked at 1.9GHz, 4GB of RAM and Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.
Other details about the phone are currently unknown, but if the Moto Z2 hasn’t been scrapped off we’re bound to learn more info about it soon.
The phone in Geekbench does seem to be in league with some of the major flagships that have launched this year including the Samsung Galaxy S8 and HTC U11.
