Moto G Announcement Going Down November 13
Happy Monday to all you Android-ers out there. Hopefully you enjoyed your weekend and are ready to get back into the swing of things!
So a couple of days ago some specs leaked for an upcoming Motorola device known as the Moto G. The device is rumoured to be the “cheaper” version of Motorola’s flagship device, the Moto X. Here are the specs again:
- 4.7″720p Display
- 1.5GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon S4 Pro Processor
- 8GB/16GB Internal Storage
- 8MP Camera
- 1950mAh Battery mad by LG
Of course none of this is official quite yet but it would seem that the official announcement isn’t too far off. Motorola has announced that they will be hosting an event on November 13 to reveal the new Motorola Moto G. Based on their splash page, I’m going to guess that this phone will receive a fairly world wide launch. The “November 13″ date on the splash page rotates through various languages plus their little Moto Globe would seem to hint at the phone being available in various parts of the world.
It’ll be interesting to see just how low cost they can go on this phone and how it really stacks up against the Moto X. I’ve already suggested that this phone will probably miss out on one of the best features of the Moto X, the Touchless Controls, due to the processor type. However, if the price is right, it could still be an amazing mid-range phone option.
