More Rumours Surrounding The October 29 Event
We’ve all heard by this point that Google will be hosting an event at the end of October. What we’re still in the dark about though is what Google will be unveiling at this time. The general consensus around the web has been that Google will be unveiling the LG Nexus 4/Optimus Nexus. Also, it’s pretty well agreed upon that Google will be unveiling it’s next version of Android, version 4.2.
Well according to a new rumour, there could be even more showing up at this event. According to a source familiar with the launch, Google will also show off two Nexus tablets at the event, a 3G enabled Nexus 7 and the rather mysterious, but very plausible, Nexus 10. The Nexus 7 is expected to come with 32GB internal storage (which is something we know is going to be available very shortly) with HSPA+ support. As for the Nexus 10, this is expected to be produced by Samsung with it’s key feature being an amazing screen with 2560×1600 resolution. All these devices are expected to launch with Android 4.2
While on the topic of Android 4.2, there were also a few details leaked as to what to expect in this version of Android. To begin with, it seems that Google has finally brought multiple users into the forefront. This feature was hidden in Jelly Bean but was not really a functional feature at the time. But it seems that Google has worked it all out and that feature will be found in 4.2. We’re also to expect some new widgets for the Play Store and some new camera features.
October 29 is just a week a way. So we’ll have all our questions answered soon enough. For now we’ll just keep on speculating
