LG To Unveil A New Phone September 21
LG is keeping busy. As previously noted, LG will be hosting an event in New York on October 1 but in between now and then they’ll also be releasing a new device known as the LG Class. French leakster Steve Hemmerstoffer leaked the upcoming device and claims that it is of the mid range variety.
In terms of specs, the Class will feature a 5.7″ 1080p display, Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB of RAM, 12MP camera and a 5MP front facing camera. There will only be 8GB of internal storage so chances are it will be expandable. The device will also launch with Android 5.1.1.
In terms of design, LG is sticking with the rear mounted power and volume buttons. The device looks much more metallic than LG’s current offerings but there’s no word on whether it’s actually metal or just painted plastic.
No word on where this device is headed but I’m sure we’ll know all we need to know on September 21.
