Huawei’s Got A Giant Up Their Sleeves
Chinese company Huawei has a bunch of new phones planned for the next year and one of them is goign to be a giant, literally. Huawei has got a massive 6.1″ phablet on the way that they hope will put Galaxy Note II to shame.
Note only is the screen goign to be massive but it’s going to be crystal clear as it will feature a 1080p display with a pixel density of 361ppi. The phone will also be an amazing 9.9mm thin while housing a 4000mAh battery. It’ll also feature a 1.8GHz quad-core chip made by HiSilicon.
Not too much else is known at this time about the device but as you can see in the picture above it seems to be utilizing on-screen buttons so it’s likely running at least ICS. The on screen buttons will also help in keeping the overall bezel size down a little bit.
What do you guys think? Is 6.1″ just too big for a phone? Or are phablets going to be more and more readily accepted?
