When buying a new phone you generally want something that will be relatively durable. Many companies have begun waterproofing their phones to help their longevity but unfortunately HTC did not go that route with the HTC One (M8). Nevertheless, the new HTC One (M8) is super durable and apparently even a little water resistant.
