Which HTC Devices Will get Ice Cream Sandwich Updates?

If you are one of these guys/girls sporting around some of the latest HTC Devices such as; HTC Sensation or Evo 3D and wondering if you will ever see Ice Cream sandwich. HTC has published the following statement:

We are excited about the latest update for Android, Ice Cream Sandwich, and are currently reviewing its features and functionality to determine our upgrade plans. Our goal for Android updates is to give every customer an improved user experience, which means balancing each phone’s unique hardware, HTC Sense experience and the Android kernel. While our goal is to upgrade as many of our recent devices as possible, we are committed to maintaining every phone’s performance and usability first. Please stay tuned for more updates on specific device upgrade plans.

All you Sensation, Evo 3D, Epic 4G, ect. you should all be find and see your updates. If you are still running an HTC Desire or less, your chances are not looking to great a this point. Google did mention just about any device running Gingerbread should be able to run ICS just fine, but in the end it all comes to whether or not the manufacture and/or carrier wants to use them. No one wants a rushed update full of glitches, or a severely snipped update, killing lots of it appealing features.

In any case, even if these devices get their updates, we all know it would take quite some time to get them to your phone. sad, but thats just the way it is.
