Guess we can’t make fun of Sony and their obsession with Android 1.6 anymore eh? Rogers has gone ahead and started pushing the Android 2.1 update to X10 handsets (yes, that includes the X10 mini). It’s coming over the air and you should be seeing that alert to update any day now, but you’re probably gonna check it manually until you have it.
This falls right in line with what we were told before. Here’s what’s new:

- Send files via Bluetooth™
- New additional applications will be available in Market
- New Backup and restore application
- Multiple Google accounts
- Quick contacts
- Live wallpapers
- Five wallpaper/standby screens
- Improved screen lock
- Timescape is updated and improved
