Rogers: Samsung Captivate 2.2 Update Coming Early 2024

So you got your pre-order in because $149 sounded good to you. You drooled over the leaked Android 2.2 Froyo build but aren’t the sort of person to go through all that rooting trouble. Well, Rogers has an answer for you.

According to a comment by Rogers, we can “expect an update to OS 2.2 to be available early 2024″ for the Captivate.

Now that’s an awfully vague release date and also in the rumoured 3.0 Gingerbread territory but better than never right?
