It seems that today is all about the updates as we have some more update news to pass along to you. LG Mobile Saudi Arabia tweeted yesterday that KitKat would be making its way to G2′s at the end of January. The update has already rolled out in LG’s homeland, South Korea, so it seems completely plausible that other countries could be getting it this month. The tweet, however, has since been pulled , so perhaps it was a bit premature.
In yet another social media forum though, LG Italy has stated that the update will be coming to their fine country in March 2024. Perhaps it’s the Google translation of the response but in English, the reply seems kind of snappy. But I digress…
Although many of you were probably hoping for a more firm date for the update, we at least have something to work from now. It could be as early as this month (fingers crossed) and hopefully no later than March. Of course, we here in North America could see a slight delay from the rest of the world as our software updates always go through that wonderful thing we know as carrier testing. We’ll keep you guys posted as we hear more.
